As a freelance graphic designer, photographer, and videographer, I get the chance to work with all the media I love. Ever since 3rd grade I have had a camera in my hand and love to create stories through video and photography. From 2013-2019 I worked as a videographer at live events in Bourbonnais, IL. My photography business, Cassie Thomas Photography, has been active since 2012, and my graphic design experience started in 2016.
I am a graphic design graduate from Kankakee County. I left my small hometown to be in Springfield, IL.
In Illinois' capitol I worked as a broadcast journalist fulfilling the Videographer role for the Illinois Senate Democratic Caucus. When I wasn't on the job or doing my freelance sessions, I also managed the social media account for a special needs summer camp from 2017-2022. As the volunteer camp photographer and videographer, I also posted on the instagram every week during the off-season.
I currently reside in Steamboat Springs, CO and am a Customer Service Specialist at Yampa Valley Bank as well as a freelance wedding photographer. On the weekends I volunteer at SCC on either the video or worship team.
